U.S. & Brazil Ethanol Outlook to 2022

United States and Brazil account for over 80% of global ethanol production and, as such, are the drivers of world ethanol trade. In Hart Energy's inaugural study exploring this industry in U.S. and Brazil, Renewable Ethanol: Navigating the Rapids, 2011-2015, key market and policy issues that existed as of early 2011 were addressed. However, there have been major developments over the last year, including the expiration of the U.S. blender's credit and tariff and record levels of U.S. ethanol exports in the face of muted Brazilian exports.

There are numerous factors that will drive the ethanol industry and markets in U.S. and Brazil over the next decade. These factors will be examined in depth in the new study U.S. & Brazil Ethanol Outlook to 2022. View Press Release from May 1, 2012.
